Modeled and textured in Blender. I was responsible for the concept, modeling, texturing, lighting, and compositing.
This environment is based on my thesis film Letter, a heartwarming story about a postman delivering a soul’s final message to her mother. The story takes place in the 19th century, so I wanted the environment to feel vintage and nostalgic. When developing the concept, I referenced objects from that era, especially old furniture, to help bring that atmosphere into the props and overall set design.
The textures were created using procedural toon shaders in Blender. I also used the Grease Pencil tool to hand-draw the outlines.
